Turkey-free Thanksgiving!

PS: I forgot to mention that we are celebrating Thanksgiving by having our friends Daithi and Bridget over for dinner tomorrow. It will be Eric's first veggie Thanksgiving!!! Initially, he was resistant to the idea but he finally came around - I don't think the poor fella had ever thought he would be uttering those two words together in the same sentence, never mind having them on the same plate for his dinner. From his reaction you would swear it was an apocalyptic omen, like dogs and cats laying together or something. Which brings me nicely to the photo above (okay, it was a bit of stretch). I know it's cruel, and strange, to dress up animals in clothes for our enjoyment but they sure look cute, don't they?

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is a quick blog for my American relatives just to say 'Happy Thanksgiving!' Last year was my first introduction to this holiday and I have to say I enjoyed it immensely. I mean what's not to like? Family, food and LOTS of pie (as Eric helpfully illustrates below). Hope you are all having a great day. Wish we were there.
